Lake Mburo National Park is located along the Kampala-Mbarara high way and it is the best place in Uganda from where you can see the highest population of Zebras, and may other Africa’s herbivorous beasts like the Eland, antelope, water buck, topis, bush bucks, among others. This park is an open, beautifully lied on genteelly rolling hills with open grass valleys and scattered thickets, woodlands and rich wetlands.

 Day 1; transfer to Lake Mburo and boat ride

On your first, you will be picked you from your hotel in Kampala by our guide to start your Uganda Safari ; he will brief you about the trip and then start driving you to the park. You will drive to Mbarara passing through Masaka along Masaka road. You will witness some of the largest banana plantation farms along the way, you may also stop at the equator to determine the southern and the northern hemisphere and also get to know your real weight, there are also other places like the Mpambire and there are the Royal Drum Makers and their craft. You will have your lunch from Mbarara and then enter the park to go for the afternoon boat trip on Lake Mburo itself. Later in the evening, you will drive to the lodge of your choice to have your dinner;

 Day 2; Game drive and Nature walk

You will have breakfast from the lodge that morning and then get ready for your early morning game drive. You will drive you through the national park to search for the different wildlife in that park, later in the day, you will return to the lodge, rest a bit as you wait for your lunch which will be served in the afternoon. During the late afternoon hours, you will go for a guided nature walk and during this walk, you will get to see the wildlife, birds, plants and other attraction at a close ranger, you will visit the salt lick area where lots of animals got to lick the salty soil. These animals will include lots of zebras, impalas, buffaloes, water bucks, bush bucks and many others, lots of birds. You will return for dinner and sleep at your lodge in the evening after the days.

 Day 3; Horse Back Rides

After your breakfast, go for a 2 to 3 hrs horse back ride in Lake Mburo and then later return to the lodge for lunch, before you embark on your journey back to Kampala.  End of Lake Mburo Safari with AA safaris and Tours ltd.
