Day 1: Udzungwa National Park, Tanzania

Leave Dar es Salaam early in the morning for Udzungwa National Park. Udzungwa National Park is the most recent, and was only opened to the public in 1992. This park is one of the most gorgeous wilderness areas.

It occupies an area of 1900km square; the exclusivity of this park lies in its bio-diversity in hosting a variety of animals and plant species not found anywhere else in the world. The red Colubus and the Sanje crested Manabrey, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, and Sable antelopes are some of the residents in this park.

An excellent number of birdlife is at hand which includes Rufous winged Sunbird, Iringa Akalat, Lagden’s bush Shrike and Udzungwa Partridge. Activities include a hike to the Sanje waterfalls or a climb to the top of the Luhombereo, Udzungwa highest peak. Overnight at the Udzungwa National campsite. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

Day 2: Udzungwa National Park, Tanzania

Get pleasure from a morning walk to the waterfalls or hike to Luhombereo, Udzungwa highest peak. Overnight at Udzungwa National Park campsite. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

Day 3: Ruaha National Park, Tanzania

Leave early in the morning having finished your breakfast for Ruaha National Park. During the Afternoon go for a game drive and move entirely with in the park. Overnight at Ruaha National Parks Hut. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

Day 4: Ruaha National Park, Tanzania

Escorted by an armed ranger, you will begin the day with a walking safari. In the afternoon have a game drive, overnight at Ruaha National Parks’ Huts. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

Day 5: Ruaha National Park, Tanzania

Wake up early in the morning for morning and afternoon game drive safaris in Tanzania. Spend the night at the Ruaha National Parks’ Huts. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

This park is Tanzania’s second biggest park and is a home to a number of animals which are uncommon or absent in the North. The extraordinary animals include the African Wild Dog, Roan and Sable antelope and the greater Kudu. The Great Ruaha River, which give life to the park, going through the eastern part of the park and is habitat to Hippos, Crocodiles and a number of water birds.

Day 6: Mikumi National Park, Tanzania

Mikumi National Park is situated between the Uluguru and Udzungwa Mountains. Mikumi National Park is residence for Buffalos, Giraffes, Elephants, Lions, Zebras and Leopards. The park is also famous for its Wild Dogs and 6m long Pythons. Spend the night at Mikumi Campsite. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

Day 7: Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania

Leave having taken breakfast and move on for a game drive at Selous Game Reserve. Carry packed lunched on the way. Overnight at Campsite. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.

Day 8: Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania

Use the entire day for a game drive with your picnic lunch. Overnight at Campsite where Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be enjoyed.

Day 9: Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania

Begin the day with a morning boat trip. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive and overnight at the Campsite. You will have your breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Selous Game Reserve covers 50 000km square, is the biggest game reserve in the world. The reserve is a home to a huge number of Elephants, Buffalos and Wildebeests. Other exceptional species include the African Hunting Dog. The park gives home for some of the remnant Black Rhinos

Day 10: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Early in the morning’ wake up for a morning drive to Dar es Salaam carrying your packed lunch on the way and get on to you home bound flight or continue to Zanzibar.
