Day 1; depart for Lake Nakuru national park

The guide will pick you up from the hotel in Nairobi and drive you towards the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you will admire the beauty of nature, you will have lunch break along the way but dinner will be at your lodge when you get to the park either Sarova lion hill lodge, Nakuru lodge or another.

On day 2 you will go visit Lake Nakuru National Park just after taking breakfast, the guide will pick you. The park gets the name from the alkaline lake of the same name found there. The park is frequently visited by hundreds of thousands of greater & lesser flamingos but there are also other bird species and over 400 bird species are found in the park. You can expect to see both the black rhino and white rhinos, so many buffaloes, Lions as well as leopards that live in the park during the evening game drive however, if you are not lucky enough to see them, then you will enjoy the stunning view of the pink tinged lake from the escarpment.

Day 3 & 4 – Transfer to Lake Naivasha for a 2 nights camping wildlife Kenya Safari

After taking breakfast, you will go bird watching until late in the afternoon when you have to break for lunch. You can see over 300 species if you are keen before going for lunch, after which you will transfer to Lake Naivasha a place very much known for its huge population of hippos and it is also a great spot for those on a sightseeing safari. You will sleep and have your dinner at Naivasha Sopa lodge, Naivasha country club.

On day 4, you will go visit Hell’s Gate National Park to watch the wild animals , you may have to hire bikes and ride through herds of zebra, buffalo, harte-beest ,gazelle and also enjoy the spectacular scenery of red cliffs, grassy plains and lava towers made of hardened lava, the remains of ancient volcanoes. Its very a tight ride but will give you the best memories Later in evening, you will have time to relax on the lake-shore, spotting a variety of colorful birds as there are more species of birds on this one lake than in the whole of the United Kingdom.

Day 5 & 6 – Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve for 2 nights camping.

You will start on your journey to Masai Mara, you will drive out of the Rift Valley, pass through the Masai town Narok before entering the Masai Mara. You may spend the night at the camp on the edge of the park, Mara Serena safari lodge/ Mara plains camp/off beat Mara camp or a similar lodge. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is know for its large numbers of wildlife since it adjoins Tanzania’s Serengeti Plains forming the northern end of the great migration ecosystem famous for wildebeest migration which happens between June to October as they search for new grass.

The next day, will be for game drive and you can expect much fun since the park has a huge number of game which makes usual to see lion, leopard, cheetah, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, buffalo, jackal, topi, gazelles, impala and elephant at any time of the year. There are also so many Hippos and crocodiles in the Mara river and in additional you will be able to see variety of bird species because there are about 53 different species of birds according to the records. After the day’s activities, you will have your dinner at your lodge before you rest.

Days 7 – Drive back to Lake Naivasha

You will have breakfast and then drive out of the Masai Mara and then return to Lake Naivasha for another overnight stop. While there, this is the chance you will have to go bird watching on the lake shores, do climb Mount Longnot which is an extinct volcano. And in the evening you can take a boat out on the Green Crater Lake for beautiful memories of the trip in Kenya. It will be an interesting evening before you can rest at the lodge, Naivasha sopa lodge, Naivasha country club.

Days 8 – Transfer to Nairobi

On this day you will drive back to Nairobi and an evening at the famous Carnivores Restaurant will be great or relaxing at the hotel of your budget in Nairobi will be good too as you wait for your departure.

Days 9 – End of the tour.

You will be transferred to the airport for you to catch your flight back home depending on your departure time. This will mark the end of your tour with AA safaris and tours.
