This safari starts from Kigali and ends in Kampala, allowing you to trek gorillas and golden monkeys in rwanda and visit wildlife and chimpanzees in Uganda.

Day 1: Arrival -City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

Arrive Kigali airport to meet our company representatives who will take you visit the Kigali Genocide memorial and a few other sites in the city, later in the afternoon have your lunch and after lunch, you will then transfer to Volcanoes National Park . Dinner will be at the lodge where you will spend the night. Kinigi guest house

Day 2; Gorilla Tracking Permit
You will have breakfast early enough so that you are at the starting point before 8 am before briefing. You will carry packed lunch as you head to the ORTPN offices for briefing for gorilla tracking escorts and rangers. You will then start tracking gorillas in Rwanda.
The bamboo forest logs will dribble as you first perceive sound the breaking of bamboo indicating that the gorillas are nearer then bingo you face to face with one of the most charming and mesmerizing beings in the world. After gorilla tracking and encounter, stay with the gorillas for 1 hour and then and trek back to your lodge and relax as you wait for dinner and over night at your lodge.

Day 3; Golden Monkey Trek / Transfer to Kabale
Wake up early in the morning and then assemble at the ORTPN Offices once again to get another briefing from the rangers to prepare you for Golden monkey trekking. Golden monkeys are the very interesting primates to watch but you will also be able to see other primates like the different types of monkeys in the jungle as you search for the golden monkeys. In the afternoon, you will drive to transfer to Kabale Lake Bunyonyi for the Golden monkey Trek.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park /

Take your breakfast, head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, You will have lunch when you get to the park and then go for the evening game drive during which you get the opportunity to see the different wildlife animals in the park. This park is a home to varieties of animals among which are the kobs, elephants, buffaloes, so many birds among others. Later you will retire from the day at your lodge where you will also have dinner. This will be at Simba safari camp

Day 5: Game drive and Boat ride

Start you day with an early morning game drive with in the park through its diverse ecosystems going through the Kasenyi track. Queen Elizabeth National Park has diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. On the drive expect game like lions, cape buffaloes, warthogs, Defassa waterbuck, giant forest hogs, leopards, Uganda Kob, elephants, Topi and bush bucks. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax as you wait for your lunch. Proceed to the Kazinga channel for a launch cruise filled with sight seeing of a vast array of wildlife. This trip not only passes you through possibly the highest concentration of hippos but also offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Day 6; Transfer to Kibale – Chimpanzee
You will have breakfast very early and then drive to Kibale national park- Fort portal. Kibale national park has the greatest population of chimpanzees which are man’s closest cousin. You will have lunch break along the way but be at the briefing point before 2pm. You will get a ranger who will guide you through the jungle during your chimpanzee trekking exercise. The Chimpanzees are the major tourist’s attractions in Kibale national park from around Kanyanchu. This is a 4 hour exercise; dinner will be at Chimpanzee guest house

Day 7; Transfer to Kampala.
After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala and the guide/ driver will take you directly to the airport for your onward flight transfer.
