Masai Mara

Day 1: Transfer to Tsavo national park.

Just after breakfast, you will leave for Tsavo West National Park situated located about halfway between Nairobi and the Coast. In the park you find the popular Mzima Spring, clearly labeled nature trails, an observation platform that provides a special vantage point to see this incredible oasis. You will have your lunch from Tsavo and after lunch, you will go for an early evening game drive where you will have an opportunity to see large herds of Elephants, Buffalo, Common Water-buck, Eland, Gerek, Masai Giraffe, Black Rhino and Antelopes. Besides the animals, you will spot variety of bird life. Later on, will come back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay which may at Voyager safari lodge, Ziwani tented camp, Ngulia safari lodge. Kilaguni Serena lodge, among others.

Day 2: Game drive and drive to Amboseli

After breakfast, another game drive after which you head to Amboseli National Park with landscape intersperse with the shiny, splendid snow-cap of the mountain Kilimanjaro. The local people around the park are the Masai nomadic pastoralist who live with their cattle in harmony with the wildlife in the park for now so many years. Lunch may be en route but dinner will be at your lodge where you will also have your dinner say at Amboseli Serena safari Lodges, , Oltukai lodge.

Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Mt. Kenya

You will wake up very early and go for a game drive in the park and see lots of animals and at about midday, return for breakfast. You will immediately checkout, carry packed lunch and drive to Mt Kenya to enjoy a unique experience of all night and unlimited game viewing. Dinner will be at the lodge where you are to spend the night like at a tree lodge surrounded by forest and overlooking an illuminated waterhole and salt lick, the ark lodge, Serena mountain lodge or any other.

Day 4: Game viewing

You will go for the morning game drive with your guide just after breakfast, look for the different animals in the park, birds, tree species and the vegetation which is relatively unique compared to the vegetation in other parks, have a clear view of the mountain and then later drive out of the park. You will have to stop some where to have your lunch and afterwards to drive to Nakuru. Where you will arrive in the evening and just wait for your dinner and sleep.

Day 5: Game drive.

When you wake up, you get ready for the game drive and expect much pleasure from the wildlife like the hippos, buffaloes, and the birds in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is also some sort of sanctuary to the rhino and when you drive close to the lake, you will be amazed the population of flamingos that flood the lake. You will have lunch later on and then proceed to Masai Mara national park, the land of the Masai and very popular for its annual wildebeest migration that comes from Serengeti cross river Mara and enter Masai Mara game reserve and attracting hundreds of tourists every year. You will be at your lodge in the evening and have your dinner then wait for the next day’s activity. This may at an archetypal Mara Lodge, Mara Soap lodge, Mara Serena lodge, Sarova Mara safari lodge or any of their kind.

Day 6: Game drive in Masai Mara

You will wake early and have a cup of coffee and go for the morning game drive in the Masai Mara reserve. You will the view the vastness of the park and see different wildlife like the Buffalo, Black Rhino, Hippopotamus, Leopard, Cheetah, Common Zebra, Coke’s Harte-beest, White bearded Gnu, Oribi, Warthog, and Thompson and Grant’s Gazelles. You can also expect to see different bird species since the park is a home to a large population of birds. You will return to the lodge for your lunch and then after go for your evening activity which may be hot air ballooning or go for Masai Mara cultural visit. Dinner just like lunch will be at the lodge where you will spend the night.

Day 7: departure

After taking breakfast, you will drive back to Nairobi and the guide will drop you at the airport if you are flying out that day.
