This tour covers the Eastern Uganda which includes a tour to the Source Of the Nile, Mount Elgon slopes of Sipi Falls, Nyero Rock paintings, traditional dances, Uganda safari and a fishing trip on Lake Kyoga. Also included is a visit of the Buganda Kingdom with a visit to the Kasubi Tombs which houses the remains of the 4 kings of the Buganda Kingdom.

Your Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrive Entebbe Airport where our representative will meet you and transfer you to Kampala. Evening entertainment by traditional dancers at the Hotel. Overnight at the Nile hotel

Day 2:
Breakfast early and transfer to the Kasubi tombs. This huge house was once the kabaka/king of Buganda s palace. This house made out of straw, Uganda Safari and mud hosts the remains of 4 former buganda kings. After a historical lecture, you will travel to the Mabira Forest for a picnic lunch before traveling to Jinja for Overnight at the Jinja Nile resort

Day 3:
Morning tour to the source of the Nile where the Nile starts is 4000mile journey to Egypt making it the longest River on earth. It is on this spot that the first European John Hannington Speke found the outlet of the Nile in 1862. Later travel to the Bujagali falls where white water rafters take on the big five rapids on a 16mile stretch of the Nile. Meals and overnight at Jinja Nile Resort.

Day 4:
Morning travel to Sipi Falls arriving in time for lunch at the Volcanoes Sipi Camp. In the afternoon, take a trail to the Sipi falls which has been referred to as “The Most Romantic water Falls” Dinner and Overnight at the Sipi Falls Rest Camp.

Day 5:
This morning we will drive to Kumi district arriving at the Nyero Rocks for a picnic lunch. After lunch, tour the rock paintings of Nyero, which depict the lifestyle of the early man. Later, transfer to Pallisa for a welcome drink, meals and evening entertainment by traditional dancers at the Pallisa Country Inn.

Day 6:
Morning travel to the Lake Kyoga. Board the local wooden boats to try your luck at fishing using traditional hooks. Thereafter, travel to the angule rocks which provide a lovely walking and hiking experience in the countryside. Picnic lunch is provided at the top of the rocks overlooking the Lake before transferring to the country Inn for an afternoon relaxing by the pool and evening entertainment by the local dancer

Day 7:
Morning transfer to Kampala and straight to the airport for your evening flight home.
