    Kibale has the highest population and variety of primates, over 13 primate species like the red, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, baboons and a large number of chimpanzees that live in the dense rain forest.

    Day 1; Kibale National Park Uganda

    The guide will come pick you up from your hotel early and then start on your trip to Fort Portal district and drive through Mubende. You may or not stop at the Nakayima tree shrine, a place that is believed to be hosting the spirit of Nakayima that is if you are interested. You will have other stops at different fascinating places along the way, have a lunch break and then you will continue to Fort Portal where Kibale national park and when you get there, you will have no time to do any single activity but just go to your lodge for an over night and dinner.

    Budget – Chimpanzee guest house/ Ataco country resort/ Rwenzori view Guest.

    Mid range –Chimps Nest Camp/ Mountains of the Moon Lodge

    Luxury – Primates Lodge / Ndali lodge / Kyaninga lodge.

    Day 2; Chimpanzee trekking. 

    When you wake up in the morning, you will have your breakfast and then head to the headquarter for briefing before 8 am and then go for the early morning walk through Kibale forest to search for the chimpanzees and other primates that my be within ranger. There will be lots of these chimpanzees which are a lot like human being thus the reason they are called man’s closest cousins. You will return to lodge for lunch and then later in the afternoon hours, go for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland where you will see variety of birds and other primates that live around this swampy area. You will late on return to the lodge for dinner.

    Day 3; Back to Kampala

    You will visit the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru immediately after breakfast where the stalactites and stalagmites have formed such a tourists attraction. This place attracts lots of tourists who would wish to see that rock that people claim to have milk come out of it. You also have nature walk around the trees and then have your lunch. After lunch, you will drive back to Kampala and your guide will drop you off at the airport or at any hotel of your choice in Kampala. End of Uganda Safari with AA safaris and Tours Ltd.
