Mombasa air craft crashes

There is breaking news from Kenya were reports have been got about the Mombasa Air Safaris that suffered a fatal crash in the Masai Mara at Ngerende airstrip near the Mara Safari Club and left both pilots of the aircraft dead together with one other passenger. The aircraft was coming from Mombasa, passing through Amboseli with 6 passengers that’s according to the information got from Kenya Tourism Federation. The plane mysterious crashed just after taking off, killing the two pilots and two passengers with 3 more were left with serious wounds. The Kenyan Flying Doctors, best known as AMREF were quick to get to the site, treating the injured ones before airlifting them to Nairobi for hospital care.

The Czech built LET 410, a 19 seater twin engined turboprop aircraft proven to perform at both higher elevations and high temperatures but it was all crashed down pieces. According to Wikipedia information on the airline, there was another crash in 1998 a 19 seat LET 410 which crashed immediately after takeoff from Ol Kiombo airstrip in the Masai Mara but lucky enough there were no passengers on board, both pilots died on sport. There were no technical problem identified that could have caused the accident and therefore said t it could have been a pilot error with the flap settings. About this recent crash, investigation are still going on to determine the cause of the accident, meanwhile, sincere condolences to the families and friends of the two pilots and the two tourists as well as the other 3 injured.
