SAMBURU-TREE LODGE-L NAKURU-MASAI MARA

Day 1:

Drive northwards to the spectacular semi-arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier. Having finished your lunch, go for an afternoon game drive to see the resident wildlife species for example the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are uncommon in the country. Dinner and the night will be enjoyed from near the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River at one of the lavish Samburu lodges.

Day 2:

More exploration of this mesmerizing reserve awaits you. Early morning and afternoon game drives give a chance to travel over some of the worlds most magnificent and thrilling terrain. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3:

Having finished your breakfast, leave for Mt Kenya region. Have your lunch at the base hotel from where you will be driven to your tree lodge. Get pleasure from the exceptional experience of all night and unlimited game viewing. Dinner and overnight at a tree lodge enclosed by the forest and overlooking an illuminated waterhole and salt lick.

Day 4:

Rise up early for breakfast, drive to the base hotel for your onward journey to Nakuru. Reach in time for lunch. Get pleasure from an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park gives home to a sanctuary of rhinos. Lake Nakuru is usually taken as a flamingo lake par excellence. The distinction and apparent dislocation between the shallow soda lake with its ancient birds and the animated woods surrounding it give Lake Nakuru National Park a very unique appeal. Dinner and overnight at a lodge over looking the lake.

Day 5:

Having finished your breakfast, leave for Masai Mara – the ground of enormous migrating herds. Reach in time for lunch. In the afternoon, go on board for a game drive to get a nearer look at the Mara. Come back to an archetypal Mara lodge/tented camp for sundowners, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6:

Rise up to the sounds of the big game country and venture out to absorb the enormity of the Mara. In this country of breathtaking vistas, view its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators: Buffalo, Black Rhino, Hippopotamus, Leopard, Cheetah, Common Zebra, Coke’s Hartebeest, White bearded Gnu, Oribi, Warthog, and Thompson’s and Grant’s Gazelles. An early evening game drive to catch up on all that was missed. All meals and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 7:

Early in the morning take your breakfast then drive to Nairobi.
