Do not place your valuables including precious jewelry, expensive watches and money belts visibly. Only carry the items you will need for the day and leave the rest well locked in your room together with your travel documents and credit cards; preferably in a safety box if available

Carry a little cash with you which you will use to buy a couple of things you may need or a small souvenir, and don’t disclose where you have left the rest.

Never ever move at night unaccompanied; if you must then use a cab.

In case you have a bag, tightly hold it under your arm and don’t rest your bags on the ground. While enjoying your food or some drinks, tie your bag on the chair on which you are seated or wrap the bag handle of your bag handle on the leg of your chair.
