Lake Victoria which is among the largest fresh water lakes on the African planet drains some of its water into River Nile the longest River in the world to form the Victoria Nile, this section run from Lake Victoria which dominates the south eastern part of Uganda and flows northwards to Lake Kyoga. The point where this water leaves Lake Victoria is very spectacular as it forms the Ripon Falls commonly known as the Owen Falls Dam.
