The Mombasa assembly Tourism and Culture Committee is now planning on marketing Kenya as a whole so that it can become one of the best tourism destinations in the whole of East Africa.
After ensuring that the country improves the security for over three months, committee chairman Amir Thoya says they now have a vantage point from which they can encourage tourists to return to Mombasa. Mombasa is one of the greatest places that any one can ever visit with lots of beautiful beaches, historical sites. Cultural tourism is one of the most untapped resources which could actually yield a lot of revenue for the country as culture is appreciated by both the local and the international tourists.
According to security departments, Mombasa is now safe for both local and international tourists and will also seek to make laws that will be friendly to the tourism sector. Every one is safe for every one to visit.
