Authorities in Kenya have arrested suspected poachers.

There 3 people that have been arrested as suspects by Kenya Wildlife Services rangers in Mackinnon  as they are believed to be connected with the killing of Satao which was the Tsavo national park’s biggest elephant . It was killed by a poacher using a poisoned arrow on June 2 2014.

Paul Muya who is the said the Kenya Wildlife Services deputy spokesperson said that these three were tracked down by KWS security personnel following intelligence and they are now being interrogated at Mackinon police station.

Meanwhile, there are 3 other poachers who were shot down by the KWS rangers in Taveta and they were able to recovered one firearm and several bullets in Tsavo West national park during that ambush.
