The hoteliers are frustrated about the decline in the number of arrivals

By February 4, 2013Kenya safaris

A large number of hoteliers from the Coast part of Kenya are mad about the fact there is an increase in the number of Tourist who are visiting the place which is not good fro their business. Hoteliers blame this situation on this every day declining number of charters which means that it has become hard for tourists to fly in and they therefore opt for other place where there are direct flights and secondly, this is because of the rising political temperatures so people think that the country might not be safe for them just like it was during the last elections.

Meanwhile the Mombasa and Coast Tourist Association believe that this is also because of the approaching hot season. Mohammed Hersi who is the MCTA chairman said while addressing people in Mombasa that tourism is currently doing so poorly. It is actually bad to be in this situation and yet Kenya has some of the most visited national parks because of their Unique attraction like in the Masai Mara game reserve, the Tsavos among so many others therefore would expect the number to keep increasing.
