According to the records, Pamba has become the very first woman to be DED for the district specially one that is so popular for extremely beautiful and unique fauna as well as flora that covers the greatest part of Serengeti Ecosystem.

While talking to the Daily news paper, she said she needs to help other women better themselves by opening doors for them to serve Serengeti people much better. Ms Pamba was transferred to Serengeti late last year from Hanang District where she was DED in Manyara Region between July 2006 – October 2012. She started her service as DED in 2004 at Kahama District Council. Serengeti District Council Chairman, Mr. John Ng’oina confirmed yesterday that MS Pamba has become the first woman DED for the council established in 1974 and she has come in after Mr. Kimulika Galikunga, who was transferred to Nkasi District Council on the same capacity.  John also said that she is a good replaces as she is a good, cooperative and a hard working person just like Mr. Galikunga. He also asked all the people around to fully support their new DED so that she can deliver to their expectation.

Meanwhile Ms Pamba has promised to efficiently supervise all the public funds that will be meant to execute different development projects in the region and also seek for instant solutions against problems that they face. Security will is a primary goal now that it has become one of the safest places in the region yet in the 1980s, it was one of the most dangerous districts in Mara Region. It also now registers the highest numbers of local and foreign investors in the tourism sector.
