Kenya Airways carrying capacity remain the same.

Kenya Airways will still remain at 3,290 million for the 4th quarter period which is between January and March as compared to the same period of last financial year of 2010-2011.

However, its capacity in Europe has declined by about 5% when compared to it capacity in the same region in the last quarter period and this decline is as a result of the on going reduction of aircrafts to London and to Rome but the story is very different with the Capacity into Middle East, Far East and India where it has increased by 3.6% compared to the result of the previous quarter period.

Flights to the Northern Africa have increased by 4.2% in capacity and it is as a result of the double dailies to Juba in Southern Sudan and the increase in the West Africa capacity is by 8.3%. The improvement in Africa excluding Kenya, there are about 419,877 flying with Kenya airways which is about 8.3% growth.
