Horse riding with Serena group of hotels

By October 25, 2012Kenya safaris

Lake Elementaita Serena which is a very beautiful and well facilitated safari camp situated on the Soysambu Conservancy with about 24 tented suites, has just added another activity to its lists of horse riding for visitors to enjoy. The horses selected can be used by both the experienced riders and the learner as all the guides are well trained not just in horse lore but bush lore as well when taking out guests for safaris into the sprawling estate.

Visitors will have a great experience the wilderness more close up and personal, while there, you will have the chance to see more than 50 species of game from the third dimension, as conventional game drives and as a guided walks are also available when exploring the conservancy. Birders in particular will find rich pickings as over 450 species of resident and migratory birds have been recorded on Soysambu, including being one of the rare breeding grounds for white pelicans.

Lake Elementaita Serena is just 2 hours away from the Nairobi Kenya, recently opened up the Soysambu Conservancy and the shores of Lake Elementaita is usually flooded with  flamingos giving a shade of pink to the spectacular sights across the water. This lake is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is also part of the extensive estate setup in the late 1900’s by Lord Delamare and up to today, it is still under the same management.
