Safari to Murchison Falls National Park Uganda

Day 1     TO MURCHISON FALLS NP

Begin  with a scenic drive Northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town. Take a stop over at Masindi hotel for lunch. Proceed to Murchison via Budongo forest, The Western Arm of the East African Rift valley and Lake Albert. Loosen up abit at a site atop the marvellous fall where you can see the Nile’s perfected beauty and marvel as it compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometer wide down through a 7-meter chasm. The 150-meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a spiral of spray – the best thing to ever happen while you watch the Nile. Finally, you can take pleasure in the sunset as you return to the superb comfort and service of Paraa Safari lodge/ Nile Safari Camp/ Sambiya River Lodge / Red Chillis camp .  FB

Day 2     THE BOAT CRUISE ALONG THE NILE

After having a  cup of tea or Coffee,  go for an early morning game drive in  search for the early risers. If you had your other night at the lodges on the southern bank of the Victoria Nile , you will cross with the ferry to the northern part and drive through  Northern bank of the river where your guide will help you search and spot elephants, waterbucks, lions, cape buffalo, hartebeests, rothchild’s giraffes, bushbucks, oribi, the elusive leopard, bohor reed bucks, hyenas and many bird species. Return to the lodge for breakfast as you wait for lunch. In the afternoon, you will safari by boat along the calm Victoria Nile which will take you to the base of the falls just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron.”  On this cruise you will encounter and marvel at a family of toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over the 17-kilometer stretch you may also see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda kobs. This is also the habitat for  many bird species including Egyptian geese, goliath herons, kingfishers, pelican bee-eaters, cormorants Hornbills, and if you are lucky, the rare shoebill stork. After taking shots of the picturesque . Suddenly , you will reach the bottom of the fall . After taking pictures, of the  Murchison falls, you will return for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge .

Day  3     Transfer Back To Kampala
Take breakfast and then drive towards Masindi. There is an optional Chimpanzee tracking ( subject to booking in advance at  USD 50 per  person interested).  Lunch en route and head to Kampala . End of safari.

Note that since this is a group safari, bookings must be done atleast 5 months in advance to enable us prepares and make the necessary reservations

A single supplement  pays an extra  USD 390 per person

Booking Requirements;
To book this tour, we require a 30% deposit and this MUST be wired on our account or paid directly at our offices using Cash.   We only send the bank details on request.
