Kampala Uganda’s capital city and also the largest in the whole country is popularly known as the city of seven hills. This is basically because it was originally set on seven different hills and people that visited it named it “Kasozi Ka – Mpala” which means the “Hill of Impalas”. They essentially named it so because it has so many impalas that could run from one hill to another through the valleys. There are a number of exciting place which you can visit whereas we divide the two into the Kabaka’s trail and the historical sites trails . You can choose to visit one tail or blend the two trails buut cannot visit both in one day. Jinja was the first capital city of Uganda and was and still know for having the source of the Nile at the famous Rippon Falls and the Owen Falls damn from where all the electricity that is supplied across the entire country and countries in the neighborhood is generated and it is situated downstream from the Nile’s source. This water flows from Lake Victoria and then stretches 4000 miles up to the Mediterranean Sea. To enjoy this tour, you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala immediately after your break fast and proceed to Jinja along the Kampala-Jinja road highway. Along the way, you may stop if you are interested at the sugar cane plantations at Lugazi as well as Kakira, another stop over will be at the largest natural forest that Uganda has got which is Mabira Forest and in side are so many different primates, birds and tree species which you have an opportunity to see if you take time and enter a little bit inside through the different routes , there also different accommodation facilities inside there since so many tourists are interested in visiting this forest. You will proceed to Jinja to source of the Nile and the Owen falls dam, you will have you lunch at Samuka Islands after this, you will go to Bujagali falls which is a converging point for many water rapids and here you will see swimmers dive under those high tides and listen to the rushing sound before you come back to Kampala in the evening. Water Rafting
Wild water rafting is along the source of the river Nile and every body that is above 16 years is free to enjoy since there is no experience is needed.
