A trip to Jinja is usually done at the beginning or at the end of the major Uganda safari, it is usually like a supplementary however, those who are interested in just this tour are encouraged to go for it and it is very suitable for people who are in the country for a very short period of time.
A tour guide from AA safaris will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel to rest as you wait fro your trip to Jinja for the water adventure but if you are here before 16:00 hours local time AA safaris will find you some entertainment depending on which events of the day are there in Kampala.
And if you are already here, you will be picked up from your hotel on day one have
DAY 1
Immediately after your breakfast, you will meet the guide who will drive you to Jinja. You will drive through the Mabira tropical forest, a natural forest with various primates like the Colobus monkeys and birds. With in 45 minutes, you will be at the Owen Fall Dam where the hydro electric power for Uganda is generated. Then you will continue to the source of the Nile at the Ripon Falls and from here, you will continue to Bujagali falls, spend some time there watching the beautiful scenaries and the divers as they swim through those rapids . When you arrive in the afternoon, you will have lunch after which you will go for rafting in the afternoon. This one of the most exciting activities done on the source of the Nile, it does not require any expertise and you can always learn on that very same day.

Day 2
In the morning after breakfast, you can go a boat ride on the Nile and visit the source of the Nile. A boat ride will be an interesting experience for you, you will return for your lunch and after lunch; you will start on your journey back to Kampala and only stop at spots where you want to stop.
You will be dropped any where you want to be dropped in Kampala or dropped at the airport if you have got a flight to catch back home on that day.
