Queen Elizabeth Safari, Wildlife Tour Uganda Tourism
You will be picked up from Entebbe airport/or bus station by a guide from AA safaris and tours and transfer to your hotel. If you arrive early, for example before 16 hours, you will have time to visit places like the Uganda Wildlife Education Center for wild life viewing in the sanctuary before you start your main tour.
Day 1
Immediately after breakfast, you will start on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park which is situated in the southwest part of the country. You may stop at the equator where you will experience being in two hemispheres at the same time that is if you are interested and here you will known your actual weight. You will drive through Mbarara town, Bunyaruguru escarpments which are overlooking the rift valley before you reach Queen Elizabeth National Park with the unfolding a beautiful panoramic view of Lakes Edward and George and the game field plains.
Day 2 Chimpanzee tracking and launch cruise
Immediately after your breakfast, you will go to Kyambura gorge to track chimpanzees.You will get a ranger who will guide you through the jungle which might take you 1-3 hours before you see the chimpanzee. You will not only meet the chimpanzees during the tracking but also other primates like the different types of monkey, birds and so many types of tree species. You will return to the lodge for lunch and In the afternoon after having lunch, you will go for the launch cruise on the kazinga channel, where you will get the chance to see a huge population of Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants and so many brightly colored birds and other water antelopes.
Day 3; Game drive
After an early morning break fast, your guide will take you for an early morning game drive in the Northern Crater Area where there is heavy grassland and dark lakes set into deep volcanic craters. You will see the baboon point where the landscape drops dramatically to form an escarpment. You will see lots of elephants, Uganda kobs, lions, and among other animals. After the game drive, you will have your lunch and start on your journey back to Kampala. If you are want to, you can stop at Mpambire drum world and buy yourself a locally made drum as remembrance for this tour to Uganda.
You will be dropped any where you want like a hotel in Kampala if you still in the country or to the airport if you have a flight to catch.
