A little bit about Lake Mburo National Park, it is a huge game park and situated on the Kampala-Mbarara high way and it sis the best place from where you can have an opportunity to see variety of Africa’s herbivorous beasts for example the Eland, antelope, as well as zebras and waterbuck. The park is an open, beautiful on genteelly rolling hills with open grass valleys and scattered thickets, woodlands and rich wetlands.
The beginning of a Lake Mburo safari
DAY 1; transfer to Lake Mburo and boat ride
You will meet a tour guide from AA safaris and tours immediately after your breakfast, he will brief you about the tour before you drive to the park. You will drive to Mbarara passing through Masaka along Masaka road. Along you way, you will have a lot to see and you stop along the way to witness some of the largest banana plantation farms if you are interested, you may also stop at the equator to determine the southern and the northern hemisphere and also get to know your real weight . You will also make stops at Mpambire to see the Royal Drum Makers at their craft. You will have your lunch from Mbarara for lunch and then proceed to Lake Mburo National Park . Upon your arrival, you will go for an afternoon boat trip on Lake Mburo itself. Later in the evening, you will have your dinner from either;

DAY 2; Game drive
After breakfast at the lodge, you will get ready for your early morning game drive through the national park with the guidance of your guide in a 4 wheel drive vehicles. At mid morning, you will return to the lodge to have breakfast and then go back for more adventure. You will take another game drive or walk under the escort of a game ranger after your breakfast. You will see the zebras which are there in plenty, the impalas, buffaloes among others, lots of birds. You will return for dinner and sleep at your lodge in the evening after the days activities.
DAY 3; Back to Kampala
After your breakfast, you will regroup at the lodge, be briefed by the guides before you leave for Biharwe for Bicycle cycling through the park and this a very interesting game, there are no steep hills to climb but you will have to cross some marshy low-lying areas, skirting larger hills through small villages and homesteads before you come back to the lodge for your lunch and then drive back to Kampala and be drooped at any hotel of your choice or at the airport if you are leaving on that day.
