Uganda Holiday Safari 12 Days

This combination of safaris will take you to Muchison falls national park, down to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the impenetrable tropical forests of Bwindi, hilly Kigezi region(the re-known Switzerland of Africa), lake Mburo National Park, relax at the sandy beaches of Ssese islands(Lake Victoria), and back to Kampala. And then have your urban tour.

Arrival in Uganda and Pearland safaris will always be there to welcome you and take you to your hotel to rest and prepare for the long adventure into Uganda. If you arrive before 16:00 hours local time Pearland safaris will find you some entertainment depending on which events of the day are there in Kampala.

Day 1
After an early breakfast, set out for Murchison Falls national park via Masindi town arrive at the park head quarters for briefing and lunch. In the after lunch go for a launch cruise on the Victoria Nile upstream to the base of the Murchison falls. Expected are Hippos, crocodiles, Water bucks, and a wide variety of bird species. Reach the “Devils Cauldron” where you will take a clear view of the majestic falls.

Day 2
Early in the morning after briefing by the tour guide go for a game drive where you will encounter Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, baboons, ad a number of different antelopes. In the afternoon after lunch take a nature walk to the to of Murchison falls, a n opportunity to see the Nile’s beauty perfected as you watch the Nile water fall into a 45 meter plunge, forming a rainbow.

Day3
Travel to Kibale Forest national park from Murchison Falls national Park. In the afternoon take a chimp forest walk. Expect to see a number of chimpanzees and other primates and a variety of bird life. Later in the evening transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Fort Portal town

Day4
Early in the morning after breakfast, have some briefing and go for a game drive. In the afternoon go for a launch cruise

Day5
Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park from QUENP. Either drive via Ishasha or through Isahaka for the Hot spring adventure, to Buhoma Park headquaters.

Day 6
Go gorilla tracking (subject to the availability of gorilla permits at the time of booking). Tracking of gorillas in the forest requires a lot of patience and walking for long hours before getting this exiting lifetime opportunity as you shall be briefed before the activity.

Day 7
After breakfast depart for kisoro, stopping at the Kanaba gap to view the Virunga volcanoes and terraced hills, visit Lake Mutanda and take a wake at its shores.Stay in kisoro for a night and relax your tiered legs.

Day 8
Track gorillas (subject to the availability of gorilla permits at the time of booking). Alternatively, go for birding, caving. Hill walking, caldera climb, and pygmy (Batwa) visit or simply relax at the hotel.

Day9
After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Park via Kabale town.Here you expect to be treated to a boat trip and an evening game drive where you encounter Zebras, Uganda kobs, Impalas, Topi, Elands and many more animals.

Day 10
After breakfast set off ro the Ssese Islands via Masaka and arrive on time at the Bukakata ferry destined for Bugala Island.

Stay overnight and enjoy the Lake breeze at Ssese Palm Beach Resort.

Day 11
Enjoy the stunning sunrise and after breakfast go bird watching and morning forest walk. Look out for Chimpanzees, vavet monkeys, baboons, colobus monkeys, a prolific variety of water and forest birds including; Hornbill, Turaco, Flycatcher, weaver, Fish Eagle, and colorful butterflies. In the afternoon that is after lunch set for Busaka on a motorized boat for bird watching by the water fall. Relax on the white sand beaches the tour the Island.

Day 12
In the morning set for Kampala, then transfer to your hotel to relax and plan for your return home.
