Mount Elgon Trekking Tour Safari
This safari takes you to the land of the great sipi falls in the mountain Elgon region situated in the Eastern Uganda with various beautiful places to see. There is a camp built around a croft-like house originally built as a Governor’s retreat, on a cliff directly overlooking the mesmerizing Sipi Falls and the Karamajong plains. This makes s a good stop over for the people on their way to Kenya also.
DAY 1, Transfer to Sipi Falls and have an Elgon Tour
You will be picked up from your hotel by your guide from AA safaris and tours and he will drive you towards the eastern part of the country. You may have to stop when you reach Mabira Forest where you will get to see different tree species and animals, sugar cane and tea plantations before you proceed. Along the way you will get to visit Ssezibwa Falls. You will lunch en route as you will arrive most probably late afternoon. Sipi falls has a rest camp near by and it is here that you can spend the rest of the day relaxing and strolling around. Dinner and over night will be at either. Spend the night at Sipi Falls Rest Camp or Mt. Elgon National Park Cottages.

DAY 2 Hiking
You will go for Mount Elgon hiking and Forest Exploration immediately after breakfast with guidance of the guide. Later on after the hike, you will go for a nature walk through the local Sabeyi people communities and then come back to the lodge for your lunch. After lunch in the afternoon, you will be guided to the core of the falls at the bottom where the water hits the rocks. Stand still and listen to the sound of the water falls and watch. You are free to take picture, check out the cave and then later on go back to the lodge where you spent the night the first day.
DAY 3; Re turn to Kampala
After having your breakfast, your guide will drive you to back to Kampala, you will stop at Jinja to visit the Bujagali falls and see the swimmers will leave Sipi Falls and head for Jinja, also in the east of Uganda. Here you will get to visit Bujagali Falls. See the water rafters do their thing and join in the fun at the source of the river Nile. You will have a meal in Jinja before heading back for Kampala in the evening. Retire at your Hotel for the night.
