Game Drives and Wildlife Safaris

Uganda pride in ten different National Park each of which offers habitat to different wild animals. During our exciting game drives conducted in these parks, you will have an opportunity to see Africa’s Big Five animals among several others. Some of the animals commonly seen in Uganda include: elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions (Don’t miss out on the tree climbing lions found in Queen Elizabeth National Park), different antelope species including the large eland, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs among so many other savanna species. Our game drives are led by our experienced safari guides and are conducted in four well good safari vehicles.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking

This is the most loved safari activity in Uganda and the country receives millions and millions of tourists each year who solely come to trek the Mountain Gorillas living in Bwindi and Mgahinga Forest. These gorillas are among the internationally listed endangered species and today, there are about only 800 mountain gorillas remaining the world.

Source of the Nile

River Nile is the longest river in the world and the good news is that its source is found in Uganda (no wonder this country is referred to as the Pearl of Africa). a tour to Jinja will offer you a chance to visit this source and enjoy a number of water adventure activities there.

Trek Chimpanzees in Uganda

Chimpanzees are considered to be man’s closets living relative, sharing about 98% of their DNA with man. So spend time off this holiday and visiting these exciting chimps, taking photos and observing them go about their day to day activities.

Bird Watching Trips

With a bird list of more than 1050 bird species recorded across the different parts of the country, Uganda is definitely a birding paradise and the perfect place for any birder to visit. Boat cruise

Uganda offers its visitors very exciting boat cruises in the different parks including on the River Nile to the bottom of the Murchison falls in Murchison Falls National Park, as well as on the Kazinga Channel within Queen Elizabeth National Park.  During these exciting cruises you will have an up-close encounter with the various water loving species including the giant Nile crocodiles, large schools of Hippos, buffaloes, different birds plus some animals which visit the banks to quench their thirst.

Nature Walks

Thanks to the various forest scattered across the country, you will be able to enjoy our guided nature Walks during which you will encounter various bird species, some primates including the colobus monkeys, colored butterflies, small animals like squirrels, and a great variety of the tree species as well as learn about the different herbs which are commonly used by the nearby local communities for medicinal purposes.

Mountain Climbing

Uganda has a number of towering mountains including the snow capped mountain Rwenzori found is the south western part of the country, as well as the less challenging Mountain Elgon – with the largest caldera in the world which is located in the eastern part of Uganda. so those of you interested in summiting some mountains, this is definitely the right place to visit.

Bungee Jumping

This is another exciting adventure activity that will give you lions-Ugandaan adrenaline rush through your body. Jump off a high cliff with the guidance the expert guides and have a story to tell for the rest of your life!

Spend time at the Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary

This Chimpanzee sanctuary is found on an island on Lake Victoria and it is a safe haven that was established purposely for orphaned chimps as well as those rescued from poachers and smugglers. Here you will have an opportunity to spend more time with the chimpanzees, take photographs and even feed them.

Visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

This is located within Nakasongola district towards Murchison Falls National Park. This is the only place you can see the southern white rhinos in the country.  This place was established to re-introduce this species which had become completely distinct in the past years due to severe poaching. Here, you will have an opportunity to trek rhinos, do some bird watching and enjoy guided nature walks.

Visit the Murchison Falls

These waterfalls are located within the Murchison Falls National Park and it’s after them that the park was name. They are found along the course of River Nile and offer a powerful breathtaking view, thanks to Mother Nature. You will see the large volumes of the great Nile force their way through a narrow gorge of just 7 meters. Water forcefully makes its way and drops below over a 43 meter cliff making a thunderous drop which results into scenic and relaxing water spray. It is very beautiful view.

Cultural Tours | Village Walks

Uganda is richly blessed with a diversity of  tribal groups each with its own unique cultural practices, norms and language. During our cultural tours we shall give you an opportunity to visit the different cultural settlements and depending on your time of visit you will see and participate in the different cultural practices and ceremonies such as the Imablu ceremony –  a well attended event that include vigorous drumming dancing and singing as the gishu boys are being circumcised as a sign of initiating them into adult hood. You will visit the local people see how they go about their day to day activities like their traditional cooking methods using firewood, brewing beer from bananas and sorghum as well as personally interact with them.
