The early morning game drive promises to be a rare experience; wake to catch the game as they roam the expansive plains before sunrise, then make your way back to the Lodge for a hearty breakfast. Take a morning game drive before lunch, then depart for Nairobi in the afternoon.
This memorable 1 ½ day safari takes you up through the small industrial town of Thika, approximately 30 miles out of the capital city of Nairobi. Find yourself surrounded by lush pineapple plantations and then take a beautiful drive throughout the Tana River, source of much of Kenya’s hydropower, and on to the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu people.
