USA issues another travel advisory against Kenya
Despite that fact that the US Embassy and its related organizations staff in Kenyan’s port city Mombasa have been under pressure from the Kenyan government to lift the ban that it had declared on Kenya and it aroused serious anger among the Kenyan government circles over both the content it contained and the deceitful way in which it was announced that they believed was done maliciously to destroy the image of Kenya. This has caused a lot of misunderstanding between the two countries but as if that was not enough, the US government issued another travel advisory yesterday afternoon asking the it citizen to avoid Kenya’s North Eastern Province as it is not safe for them.
This announcement stated that as a result of recent events and threats, US government employees, contractors, grantees and their dependents are banned from traveling to the province which includes places of Wajir, Garissa, Mandera and Liboi as well as areas of Lamus Pate Island to Kiwayu and beyond, the Moyale and Isiolo which are also not safe for any one. This warning also goes to the non government employees as long as they are Americans
At the moment, Kenya wonders whether America will be withdrawing all its CIA and FBI plus all the other secret agencies staff from these areas. The main disappointment is with the Obama administration which they expected to protect and defend Kenya with all that they have got and this is why they are actually not disappointed that he never got time to visit his father’s homeland and yet he had a number of opportunities of his father when he had the time. Kenya was pushed into submitting to their embargo on Iran some thing that is costing Kenya a lot but they are not even being compensated for such losses and it is much clear that they do not care about Kenya and so this arrogant attitude of theirs will push Kenya to find other allies and partners like China and Russia who can listen and help them with their problems.
there are other sources from Kenya that agree that friendly relations involves having a better behavior from official American organizations like the embassy and should not cause any kind of panic amongst the people of the other country or cause any kind of damage to it more so to its economy which US is currently doing to Kenya. US has got think about its actions and lift all the bans that it has put on Kenya as it is driving away it guest more so the tourist and yet they are the major source of foreign exchange which Kenya uses to run its administration.
